ICAVL Accredited Non-Invasive Vascular Laboratory

Vascular Associates of Connecticut, LLC is proud to offer its patients accurate and state-of-the-art non-invasive vascular testing in the convenience of its offices. These tests are crucial to both diagnose and manage most vascular disorders. Our Vascular Laboratory is certified by the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Vascular Laboratories (ICAVL) for evaluation of the carotid arteries, the aorta and the arteries and veins of the legs and arms. This nationally recognized accreditation assures accuracy, quality and patient safety. Vascular tests are performed with Ultrasound which is painless and without radiation exposure. Some studies will require placement of blood pressure cuffs on the arms and legs. All vascular studies are performed by a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) and are interpreted immediately by your Board Certified Vascular Surgeon. The Non-invasive Vascular Laboratory is managed by Rebecca Kearney RN, RVT and Eugene Sullivan MD, RVT.
